oh man,
if you ever want it to peel, then yes you want 6-8 coats.
youll see full coverage at around 4-5 coats depending on your base color.
you should not be using cans for a full vehicle.
an x5 is a 5 gallon truck.
thats 5x128oz= 640oz
a 12oz spray can only has 7oz of sprayable fluid (the rest is propellant).
640oz/7oz= 91 cans. 90x$6 per can= $540.
5 gallons=$275
DYC spray system= $150
roughly $500 total shipped.

this is what the math looks like if done right.
Everyone knows that guy that sprayed his whole car with 15 cans.
well hes going to be having a very difficult time peeling that.
