So your O2 sensors are working properly after this?
In NY we have emissions but no tailpipe sniff tests. As long as the O2 isnt tripping the check engine light, it should pass inspection.

When i do this, i will have to leave my CAT in so it passes visual inspection.

O2 is the least of your problems. They are there just to detect extremely rich or lean conditions. Diesel will operate in much wider margins than the gas engine. Many people here have to understand that X5 with "deletes" will not be smog legal. CEL may not be ON, but this is because the error codes inside the DDE are deleted, and thus some of the monitoring routines are canceled.

So in that case, what will fail an inspection, in my case NYS only? We dont have sniff tests and you can pass emissions with 1 not ready parameter. I really want to do this but i have to be sure it will pass emissions every year.

To be honest, if you have any sort of emission testing, I wouldn't do it.

I only did it because we don't have emissions here.
Also, I have 1 O2, and I removed 2 NOX sensors but as bawareca said, that's the least of your worries

wow! how did you manage without lowering the subframe? Mine would NOT come out.

I am sure there will be more than 1 monitors not ready.

I removed the pass side motor mount and raised the engine as much as possible. It was hard though.

Now that i think of it, that's probably how I ended up taking mine out too.
