Hello, I'm thinking of trading in my E53 for a E70 pretty soon. I was going to fix up the E53 with a 4.8is body kit and add the style 187's ect... but wife said she would rather invest the money on a newer X5. Thinking about a 07-08 I6. Wondering what kind of problem those engines have. Also came across a 2010 X5 Diesel I6 3.0L/183 with 73,000 miles at a local dealer. Is the Diesel any good? Just looking for some feedback. Thanks
Guess it will vary on your preference. I would test drive both. I have a 2010 35D with 115k and it has been rock solid (minus a few small issues like bad battery, FRM module, AC, MAP sensor). Such a fun car to drive...tons of power and torque and sounds awesome.
