Look more carefully. It is a "sealed" box with 5 fuses inside. Also check the pre-fuses that are on the top of the battery. Seeing your cooling fan code it is either bad fan regulator or pre-fuse blown.

Ok so I found the bad fuse all the codes are now off except one, and previously there were no codes related to this active tank temperature sensor which I understand is inside the tank.... I will say the part on top of the tank is damaged so I assume this would be the cause, however that didn't send any codes the temp sensor did...

Anybody have any kind of suggestions?

There's zero impact on the tank itself so in hoping I don't have to replace it...

I am so sorry i cant rememer exactly which fuse, I know it was a 20A fuse and there was only 5 fuses in this small box. And only 2 of them are 20A.

The only plausible answer is yes it was shorted during impact. There were zero CEL lights on before the crash...

So there was adequate damage to crush/tear/short/etc the wires while powered?

Id look at everything on both ends of the wires.

Well all the wires are fine now, I am under the impression it may be the damaged part I took a photo of? If not I'll be out almost another $1000 from my research... Hopefully there's some sort of alternative

You may be the right guy to install a resistor or thermistor and fix the problem.

I'm absolutely willing to try anything in in an effort to save $800 on this. I feel i am savvy enough to accomplish this feat, but i'll need some more direction. I have no real understanding of what wires are what. If i can get assistance i'll document everything and create a how to thread
