Cargo lift strut - perfect replacement option
thanks to a member "sprzesmi" on Bimmerfest. he figured out that you can use

Dee Zee DZTBSHOCK1 Tool Box Shock on Amazon for $20 about half the cost of BMW one. I bought the same strut and it's a perfect fit and works great.
