Just picked up my 7th BMW... an LCI E70, and love it!

Last weekend I picked up my 7th BMW, a 2011 X5 XDrive35i in Sparkling Bronze. I've wanted an E70 since getting one as a loaner back in '07, so I finally decided to consolodate and buy one.

Options I would probably prefer, but did not get. Such is life with used buying sometimes:
- HUD
- Adaptive Drive, although the verdict is still out on cost/complexity, I believe the value is there for those that have it. I will be looking to reduce body roll since I don't have this.

Let's make it look like the press images.
Planned upgrades:
- 20" Style 336 + ditch runflats
- Flares
- Running Boards
- LED AE/Fog upgrade
- Front window tint match
- Nav update
- Front euro bracket for my old zoll plate. (front already drilled for Va. plate so...)
- JB4 - may have nixed this idea as honestly it's pretty well balanced right now.

Here it is at a brewery on the way back from purchase, I had to celebrate a little.

I'll see ya around!

Congrats! Looks nice.

One thing about the running boards, most people including me are swapping them for non running boards because the aluminum running boards make the back of your pants dirty and are a pain to get in and out. Just makes it awkward because they stick out so much.

I say keep it as is or find someone on here that wants to even swap (an hour process) with yours.

Enjoy!

Funny you should mention that!

I am definitely willing to swap my mint moldings for some mint running boards!

I like the look and my kids prefer them, so I'll be doing them. All the literal fancy-pants owners may have other priorities.

Looks good! Sparkling Bronze looks better in person than in photos.

Thanks, and yes, it does. Overcast days it's kinda plain brown, but when the sun hits, it looks pretty amazing.

Love the Sparkling Bronze. I almost traded mine for a 2012 SB with Every Single Option but it had the Basic Sound System and after having Top HiFi, I refused to compromise.

Good looking ride. You will enjoy it no doubt. The "dirty pants" crew cracks me up. I don't think I've hardly touched a running board except standing on it to wash the roof.
