a7 third brake light concept

Have been playing around with the idea of modifying the rear spoiler by deleting the current third brake light and retrofitting/flush mounting an a7 third brake light around the inside of the inner lip. Made a quick gif since it was hard to visualize as a still chop (photoshopped in an actual a7 brake light). Think it would look good if I can integrate it to look oem, the lense would be tinted black.

What do you guys think?

Thanks - will probably make a mould for the spoiler trim out of a junk yard find since the painted roof spoiler/plastic trim is not sold separately by bmw. Also, if any vendor wants to take this idea and run with it so we can get some proper production tools involved please do so!

The tips are 120mm supersprints (4.7")

I'd do it...looks good! What's the cost of the A7 light so far or are you planning on making a rep of that?

New OEM is about $180 so definitely going that route if I take the plunge. Would use the lens, reflector housing and pcb. The top to bottom curve seems almost perfect, I didnt manipulate the perspective at all in the chop just scaled. Only thing I worry about is the back to front curve lining up properly, ours is a little more flat I think.
