Get a Motive Pressure Bleeder and a catch/drain bottle, don't even have to remove the wheels or at least I didn't on my E70...wait I think I removed the rears only but still the entire process was 45mins taking my time.

Unless you are tracking the car or really in some excessively humid areas, the brake fluid takes a while to really become contaminated.

I guess BMW wants the brake fluid to be a fresh as possible.

2 years is a smart idea, but may be excessive as well.

Lifetime transmission fluid, but every 2 years on brake fluid! Go figure. On is a safety system, but only a small percentage of cars on the road ever get brake fluid flushed on a regular basis. Some never get the fluid flushed.
Order some of those strips to check. Will see the results. I am in area where not really humid, Calif. West coast.

Thanks for that advice!
Now that tool there you tight the round cap to brake tank and on the other side put air pressure to push out the brake fluid? and normally need to open at 1 wheel? or must do to all wheels?
Thanks.

Harbor freight has the brake fluid transfer tool as well, i did my E90 brakes with it in 30 mins, very easy. You will need air supply such as an air compressor. Youtube the process, its easy.

Well got the tester and the strips to check, and i don't think at this time will replace the brake fluid.

I may do it later.

Here are some pictures:

Stealers want $210 to do it, so i may get later something like this:
FIT TOOLS 2L Pneumatic Brake Oil and Fluid Extractor and Brake Bleeder Kit

or like this
STEELMAN 95212 Pneumatic Brake Fluid Extractor Kit
and do it my self so i can use for next time or other cars.

Thanks.

I would like to bleed the brakes at least once every two years. since I'm at it I might as well bleed out all the old fluid. not a big deal. even on the X5 I can detect an improvement in brake pedal feel.
