The one I bought was an OEM Part and has functioned flawlessly. The only thing I notice is on extremely cold mornings is that I sometimes need the drive to warm up and reinsert the disc.

You guys actually use your Navi? On my 06 you have to input the address old school style like dialing a rotary phone, takes way too long and too much effort.. I'm assuming you have touch screen...

Nope. Touch screen sucks. I absolutely prefer the input interface in the BMW.

Albeit my voice interface actually works pretty damn well when I have all the windows rolled up and the sunroof shade closed. It takes 15 minutes for the completion of the input but I surprisingly has worked pretty well. I just tell everyone to shut the hell up when Im doing it. LOL
