It's not even a genuine ///M emblem, is it? Never has this type of emblem been placed in this position on this or, I think, any BMW. Not sure the point but certainly some will be fooled and impressed. Obviously, I'm not a fan and wouldn't put one on mine.

I agree. It's like putting MD in front of your name if your not. I recently asked a guy at the gas station about the M emblem on his X5 sport package. He said "yes, its an M and it has the logo on the door sills and steering wheel". I said "interesting I have the exact same car and mine's not an M".

Mine just have the fender flair and X5M wheels. Thought it's fun to put the M emblem on the back, although BMW never put it on the left, LOL.

Never apply an M emblem. The car either comes with it, or it doesn't. Adding one is always wrong.
