I will be getting a carly scantool and then I should be able to see the current battery registration setting and then install a new battery. My present theory is having battery disconnected for 2 days about 3 months ago when I replaced leaking oil cooler gaskey behind alternator then lost my battery registration and since then the "stupid" bmw system has been overcharging my battery until now it is fried. May I say AGM batteries are too delicate and the BMW system is a setup for failure. Sigh!
