DPF Delete pipe install
Looking to install a DPF delete pipe on a 2010 x5 35D. Anybody have any pics or suggestions for the dpf removal and pipe install?

No and no. Especially when they want $6k to replace the filter and it will probably fail in another 67k miles.

Recommended replacement is at 150000 miles. What BMW faults are being stored as it is unusual to no longer be able to regen @ 67k miles.

Recently purchased the vehicle and took it to BMW dealership who stated it needed a new DPF. Currently no codes but it has sat until I can get it fixed.

Is the car running and driving? You should take it for a 20-30 min highway trip, check the temperature to make sure the thermostat is showing correct range, its what causes DPF blockage as stated before. This is a good thing to know before doing any DPF fixes.

This - and as well - BMW expects you to foot the bill? Isn't there some sort of EPA mandate that DPF's and emissions components especially on diesels have to last until 120k miles or 10 years?

I'd tell them that it better be on their dime - or a call to the EPA would do some good.
