'09 35d, bought in '12 at 60k miles.
180,000 km last week. About 120,000 miles. Passenger side seat airbag detection was faulty at purchased and replaced under goodwill. Done rear airbags, 3 DEF reservoirs all under P&L warranty, coolant thermostat, glow plugs and controller under goodwill, recirc heat exchanger recall, alternator bolt recall, tension strut bushings, vibration damper, one screen washer pump (next one leaks and repl. coming up), D/S fr. wheel bearing (was SKF brand but is noisy again after 10k). I did the A/T drain and fill and transfer case refresh at 100k. Replaced battery at the time and reset adaptation values for all three. Running strong but obviously problems will increase from here and hhope to replace early next year.

Rolled 110K miles this week. Had the third party seven year/100K extended warranty through the dealer.
After the last warranty work, replacing the small DEF tank, my 2009 seems to have hit a performance/maintenance smooth spot in its old age. The transmission slips a bit from 3rd-4th when cold, and my bet is the gearbox will be the weak link heading for 150K miles.

Pierburg makes the part for BMW, you can see their name on the OE part. This is the part without the BMW stamp on it from the OEM.
