Nice! You may be the highest. Can you tell us what issues you have experienced and around what mileage?
Also whats your MPG like and any idea on the condition of the DPF?

Replaced EGR valve and SCR Mixer under recall warranty @ 63,961
new battery same time

EGR Cooler I think at around 107, 000

# 5 injector (known issue)) at around 117,000

CEL has been coming on and off since 123,000 -codes are:

4016 denox System efficiency
452A info particulate filter system

Initial conversations were that they would have to "go in" to see exactly what was needed and that there could be no guarantee as to the cost. Since I had ordered an F15 at around this time, I declined. (Note: I used to have a Duramax and around 120k I had an issue that the dealer could not resolve, he told me they would have to start replacing things to see what would resolve it. That is when I purchased my first X5 35i as I did not want to participate in that game.

Meanwhile, I wait for the F15 to be delivered and when it shows up, it is not as ordered. I declined to take it. As I drive the X35d, the light comes on and goes off and there is absolutely no difference in performance or driveability. Mileage is consistent at 24-25 mpg. I decided to just drive it as the wholesale value is ridiculously low.

No other issues to date, oil is changed every 7500 miles ( warning- I am in the lubrication business and every oil change is sampled, fuel dilution is a real factor after 8,000 miles), transmission fluid, front/rear axle housings and transfer case have been changed at 75k and 150k.

I have recently ordered a new Q7, and frankly am on the fence as to if I am going to drive it or give it to my wife, as the X5 is my work vehicle and it just keeps on keepin' on. One of the things I hate about the F15 ( and other SUV alternatives) is that the rear seats do not fold flat and it became a deal breaker for the way I use the vehicle-pretty stupid design that!
