3.0Si Petrol Idle Question
I am close to purchasing a 50k mile X5 3.0 2008, drives very well, however at idle ie the lights, there is a bit of a vibration through the steering wheel? What is normal, I drove another and it was basically the same...should it be dead smooth, or do they all vibrate a wee bit? Thanks stu |

There is always a slight vibration on mine. In the past it has been discussed that there are multiple issues/fixes for this.
Engine mounts, vanos, bad coils I have replaced all but there is still an ever so slight vibration at idle but noticed marked improvements with the replacements of each. I bought mine with 31K miles and its now sitting at 150K miles. I just shrug it off. Shes an old girl.
