So an update....the truck got the vibrations discussed earlier. I replaced the intake gaskets and also that lovely deep rumble that I was getting to love turned out to be a cracked weld in the exhaust pipe where it mated to the muffler. I had a shop weld the exhaust back up and they added an extra hanger for support and everything is smooth sailing. My gas mileage has improved, the truck has smoothed out and the transmission is even smoother with shifting. So for $55 its much better.

Pulled both Vanos Intake and Exhaust yesterday. Cleaned them out and Used Some MAF Sensor Cleaner on the MAF. Drove to work this morning. She's back to smooth sailing.
