RI-X5 is on a distinguished road
Hooking up bumper led and power source

Got some led lights for lower grill insert under the for lights. Was wondering if there is a how too or someone can tell me where the ignition 12 volts, ground and drl wires are too tap into.

Remove the covers, I mean your mercedes should have the power connectors there since they all come with these bumper leds. Did yours get stolen?

Jyohay is on a distinguished road
you can get one of these, and hook it up to the Battery post in the engine bay.
my DRLs came with a similar harness.
It autodetects when the car turns on and off.
Only downside is it will not turn them on with unlock *with the Angel eyes).
i used to have mine just shoves in the headlight and tapped off the angle eye bulb wiring, but the connection wasnt good.

i ended up running a wire to the cigarette light inside the cab.

damn sorry i was too late!
getting through the grommet on the drivers side was hard as hell.
i had to drill through the rubber (super scary since a big wiring loom is right there)
i had to run my LED bar switch through that.

was there an easier way through that your found?

wasnt too bad, i see how thick the grommet was with all the wires. so i just used the hood latch cable grommet.
