Well, My car DOES have a drain screw and the gas pedal trick wasn't working. also, with my car, you cant turn the fan or anything on unless the car is running. Simply inserting the key doesn't give you any climate controls. I'm no engineer but I didn't think running the car while draining the coolant was a good idea.

I couldn't find any other DIY that was relevant to my car. So i did what I could with the information I had. Obviously that didn't work out well, so I'm here trying to get someone to help me out.

You are supposed to turn the ignition on, but not start the car. The A/C controls will work then.
