Thank you for your build info/pkgs...
I will give it a long look when my CEO is up for her new car replacement, this winter or next spring.

I get the BMW brand/image/stuff, and I like the redone X1, but that category size-wise has some considerable competition for a lot less dough.
But, it is on the Medium Length List.

I thought the X1 shares platform with the Countryman?

What exactly made you switch from the Countryman? The Countryman was on my short list for my future CEO, but after seeing the new X1, that's becoming a good alternative.

The F60 countryman hasn't been released yet. The R60 countryman we had for 4 years, it was just a little too small with my kids growing up, and for the weekend trips to the cottage (2 hours away).

Its not a bad replacement for a 35D if you don't need the additional space or towing capacity.
