Also saw that the inside of the plenum has oily residue coating all of the inside. The large black housing that sits inbetween the valve covers. On top of the valley pan and below the airbox. What the throttle body is bolted to. Basically a bunch of oil behind the throttle body all over the inside of the plenum. Is this normal? And if not, what could be causing it?

It's normal to have oil in the intake. The CCV vents oil, combustion / blow by products, moisture, etc into the intake.
The creamy peanut butter is caused by my understanding blockages in the CCV, and insuffienct drive time to fully remove moisture and other contaminants that build up in the engine oil and CCV system. |
