And So it Begins.

I just got back from a short business trip and found the X5 sitting down on the back right corner. Airbag. No big deal. My question is, is there a specific brand y'all use as opposed to OEM? I am gonna replace the pair rather than one at a time. I was just wondering if there was something better or longer lasting than the OEM bags.

Thanks!

Arnott bags
I found them cheaper on amazon than off Arnott's website
I changed them one at a time but they both needed to be done within 15,000 miles of each other

Arnott, but if you don't buy them direct from Arnott, you don't get their lifetime warranty. You only get whatever warranty the seller offers. I'd pay the few extra bucks and get them direct.

I put Arnott bags on all four corners of my e53 a couple years ago without issue.

Purchased Arnott from Bavauto late last year and they claim lifetime warranty on the product description page, and also recommend replacing in pairs.

Arnott for sure. Do it sooner than later. A leaky bag can be hard on the air pump.

I bought direct from Arnott to ensure the lifetime warranty tho they may support 3rd party sales.

They did price match with Amazon...

I just replaced mine last month and went with aerosus. I'm happy with them so far, the test will be how long they hold up.

misleading title for sure, i thought it was a build thread or something...
I used generic brand off amazon and fit and function was oem, well see how long it lasts. Been a year so far.
