Do these things not have a drain plug for the radiator?

2009 X5, I don't see a drain plug and it looks like you'd have to take half the motor apart to get to the bottom hose. Surely there's a better way to drain this radiator?

I changed the water pump recently and my radiator had a drain plug, driver side, bottom.
