2012 XDrive35i upper radiator hose confusion

So I am in the middle of replacing the water pump, thermostat, expansion tank and some of the hoses. I ordered a new upper hose that goes into the ts
tat but when I compare it to the one I removed it does have an extra connector.

Any idea why they are different and where to order a matching part from?

- Compared to the one I have.
- The part number from realoem.
- A picture of the actual part.
