Comfort Access with second fob

I bought a second fob and all is working well except for the comfort access, anything that needs to be done for that?

Hmm. I am pretty sure you need to tell the CAS there is a new remote. The signal that opens locks and stuff is different than the radio singnals that enable CA.

Did you read up on the pdf on 'E70 Comfort Access system'??

When we bought outs, one remote worked for CA, one didn't. Took it to the dealer to have it programmed in. I think it was ~$90 but that was probably 6+ years ago.

I think there's online places that will do it too somehow.

I'm going to see what I can do with DIS and SSS but so far I think it's not straight forward. I'm working on learning in a remote for the rear entertainment as well and that's not going well either, I bought the FOB from the dealer (about $400) so I should really get them to do it but I thought I would try myself first
