OBC - Delete Chime Function?

HI ALL!
Is there a way to enter the OBC on the e70 similar to the manner on the e53? I would like to remove the Driver's seat belt chime. Any specifics on doing that?

Carly is the easiest method. I think you can do that with their coding module

Actually, looking for instructions on using the OBC through the OBD via the dash display and stalks. This is possible on the e53 and it sold be on th ee70 also. Just do not want to start pushing and cliking blindly.
It should show all temps and functions like trans temp etc...
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks!!

Hmmm...I know that you can unlock the e53's instrument cluster to check functions of the IKE....but you can not turn off the GONG (TEST 13). You can check the functioning of the GONG (TEST 13)...but you can't turn it off.

I don't own an e70 X5 (yet)...but I have seen videos of how to unlock their new generation clusters. Have you done a simple google search or YouTube search yet? If not, try typing "unlock BMW e70 X5 cluster" in both a google or youtube search box and see what results you get.

Good luck.

You can unlock the cluster to check temps and fuel levels, etc. it's similar to e53.

With the ignition on or the engine running, press and hold the trip button for about 10-15s. The check control messages will show after a couple seconds. Just keep holding.
