Strange bolt

Anyone have an idea where this bolt goes? Replaced my thermostat and cleaned my egr today. Didn't touch any bolt that looks like this. X starts and runs fine. When i first started could hear the water pump due to lack of fluid I'm guessing, but the squeak quickly went away. No cel. Everything seems fine. Bolt looks stripped out, could have just knocked it loose from somewhere.

That doesn't look like any BMW bolt I've ever seen. What size head is it?

Looks like it's something from another vehicle though to me?

It's a 10mm. It was on the floor of my garage after I finished..... So could easily be from some random thing. Btw, temp sitting at 85 now and egr cel gone. Next..... thrust bushings.
