Trailer hitch instillation

Does anyone have a photo of a clean trailer hitch instillation preferably on a Sport rear bumper? I would like to add a hitch but have never seen one on a Sport bumper. Thanks.

Fitted to my 2011
Westfalia detachable (U.K. Car)
Entirely invisible when tucked away.

I was needing the receiver opening so I could add a bike or ski rack. Is that part of the Westfalia assembly?

The towbar was fitted, purely for a cycle carrier
Thule 927, 3 bike carrier with the option to fit a fourth

Thanks

In U.K. We don't fit the us style hitches, instead we fit a removable swan neck

This leave (in most cases) invisibility after removal, after bumper removal a cut is required on the underside

Removal & replacement of bumper crash frame & wiring to loom

The square US receivers are seldom used for private vehicles, the westfalia detachable bar (OEM to BMW & most other German manufacturers) is good for 3500kgs & a nose weight of 150kgs, though lesser on most other manufacturer of bar.

BMW recommend installing a further radiator with the towing package.....

I hate the big gaping hole and stupid trim they put on my wife's car. The opening is about a foot wide and totally unnecessary.

I'm curious about the additional radiator. Hers was originally fitted with the towing preperation. And it does have a radiator approximately 25cm by 25 Cm in the left "pod" ahead of the front left wheel. It has engine coolant running through it. I wonder if this is the one you refer to.
