35d faulty MAP Sensor?
In the process of troubleshooting my 13' 35d with 75k on the clock. Currently it goes into limp mode anytime you start to lean into the throttle once it hits limp mode it has very little power to move itself. Pulled the codes below..
Engine / Motor Boost pressure sensor, plausibility boost pressure too low Code: 0048DC Exhaust gas recirculation rate control, deviation exhaust gas recirculation rate control error while Kat heating Code: 004B82 measured air mass compared to the calculated air mass to low Code: 004862 Exhaust pressure upstream of the turbine exhaust pressure difference measurement calculated too low Code: 004C83 Did some research and the MAP sensor seemed like a good place to start, I did remove it and it was all gunked up; I cleaned it out with CRC MAF Cleaner and reinstalled (still waiting for replacement MAP sensor to show up). Just ran a functional test in ISTA/D and was presented with the following results. I'm assuming I'm looking to compare the Charging and Ambient pressures, in this case they are much more than +/-25 mbar difference considered within spec thus suggesting the sensor is faulty? |
