H&R 1.2" Springs with Adaptive Drive

Would love opinions of those running the H&R 1.2" lowering spring kit with Adaptive Drive. I'm worried it will mess with the adaptive shocks and ride quality will be harsh. Who here runs this setup and what are your thoughts? Thanks!

Ive never heard of anyone 'running' that. I do wonder what the AD system will think of the new ride height values...does it matter? can you reset them??

Cutting edge? Or bleeding edge??

I'm running them with no issues at all. I would suggest buying the hight sensor rods from a fellow member in here, since the ones that comes with the kit are not long enough, you'll bottom out. Only if you have air bags if not that's even easier.

Had mine with AD for about 7 years...
Love 'em!

Great ride, no bounce and they look awesome.

Just install? Or is there anything that needs to be done with AD/sensors/etc??

It's the same as your standard lowering spring setup except the rear can be adjusted based on the length of the ink you will need to install. Essentially you are just fooling the rear into thinking the vehicle is at a set height.

Anyways my understanding is the H&R kit will drop more than advertised however it will still be a conservative drop without compromising ride quality. I personally really enjoyed the Eibach front setup on my X5. It rode very close to stock sport. The rear springs didn't offer much drop but with rear airbags you wouldn't have to worry about that.

Just install, no adjustments/coding or anything else needed.
You will need the rear links as mentioned, but nothing unusual about the install at all.

Enjoy!

Thanks everyone. I need to do my front top hats, so it's a good opportunity for the install.

When you say you'll need rear links, do you mean the ones that come with the H&R kit?
