my car : 2011 5.0i twin turbo. sometimes i got fault "Engine Malfunction. Reduced Power", after restart everything is ok. I checked log error and found :"charging pressure control, boost pressure too low" 0030FF. What could it be ?

Is there any type of driving- heavy load, up hill, full throttle- that seems to trigger this?
Look at connections in the intake, specifically after the turbos before the cylinders |

boost pressure too low
Most time it happens just when pressing the full throttle, but about 1 time per month.

Could be a boost or vacuum leak. This could be caused by the boost solenoid, vacuum lines to solenoid, leak around the chargepipe/intake, etc.

Full throttle should be peak pressure- more likely to exhibit a leak |

check your boost pipes & seals. i had one pop off the intercooler on an n54 with the same code.

I've been having the same issue all summer long. I've recently taken the car to the dealer who did vacuum tests for leaks and determined that my Pressure Converter was dead and replaced it. It worked fine for a week and suddenly this is happening again. It usually happens when I'm going slow... step on the pedal and it seems as though there is no boost. Not sure what it could be. I know I sound crazy but it usually happens after it's rained a lot or there is a big drop in the temps as this typically happens first thing in the morning. I'm wondering if it could be the VANOS Selonoids or something else?

My 3.0T had the same issue. Reduce power warning, sent into limp mode while merging into heavy fast traffic. Read code was Solenoid boost valve. Had that replaced. Has not reared its head in a month.
