CV boot
Was detailing the Cars this weekend prepping the cars for winter and as I was cleaning the wheel well on the X5 there was grease. SH!T! The Drivers CV boots has about a quarter inch gash in it. The only thing I can think of was it happened when I swerved off the road to avoid hitting a deer when I was in Louisville two weeks ago. I do not have the time to pull the whole damn thing apart for the next few months. Has anyone tried one of those clamp on boots as a temporary fix? I'm looking for some advice as I can spare a couple hours to get this fixed for now.
Thanks!
