Expansion tank sensor connector
Hi there, I need some help from the X5 Community. The previous owner of my 2008 E70 X5 did some shortcuts when coolant hoses start breaking down. For example the one that goes into the expansion tank is attached to the tank with a clamp instead of the clip type of connector.
Well my problem is he didn't install the expansion tank sensor (not a problem because I can buy one for $6 on Ebay), however he cut the electric connector (it's gone). I found just the connector on line but I don't know the wiring schematics in other words, what color goes to what side of the connector (two wires). Can anyone take a look at your connector and let me know or maybe take a pic? I'll really appreciated it... Thanks... Last edited by wacuna; 09-09-2017 at 05:16 PM. |

That'll Be easier said then done, if memory serves me the sensor is on the bottom towards the back of the tank. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPCyLYD_jVc Around 4:00 shows the sensor and wires.
