Scangauge 2 Install ideas

Hey guys, a few weeks after buying my new to me X5, I decided to try out my late brothers scangauge 2 and monitor the water temp and a few other parameters.

I gotta say, aside from the slight color differences, this little thing is awesome.

So, my question is this. Any ever make a permanent install of this piece, and if so where did you put it? I am going to dive in tomorrow and see where it can go, and how feasible it will be for a permanent home in the car.

Little things I noticed in the 10 mile drive I took with it tonight:

-My speedo is off by 3 mph. Car said 60, gauge said 57
-The warm up time was longer than expected, however it is 28 degrees outside. Took a good 10 minutes of mixed driving to reach 210 from 98 at the beginning.
-The voltage gauge is nice. Sitting steady at 14.5 the entire time, with fogs, heated seat and radio on

I'm sure there are other things I can look at, and will probably set it up as a boost gauge as well (MAP reading) but just looking for a clean, driver oriented installation. I figured someone here had to install this in their X at some point.
