Finally I might have suggested that you call IPT in Hawthorn NJ, but there is that logistics thing again. (Never mind that they might be able to answer your question...) Plus here I am NOT answer the question you asked. Im telling you who might know, but again- that is NOT what you asked.
Thanks for you understanding.

RE, my transmission being 'damaged', I do wish I had the remote diagnostics ability you seem to possess. I've been driving the car with this behavior now for over 45,000 miles without the car throwing a single code. So while I did get some slippage on a dyno, once out of 15 times, I'm now assured that there are benevolent, all-knowing forum folk such as yourself to bestow upon me such invaluable pearls of wisdom.

Further, I'm really glad you didn't suggest I call a company in Hawthorn NJ who has 1 star on Yelp and 2.5 stars on Google.

Now, I suppose I'll have to look up mechatronic part numbers to see if they're interchangeable and see if I can pull up bolt pattern images. If no one has done this conversion, that's fine. Won't be the first time I've investigated and done things others "more knowledgable" have said could not be done for a reasonable amount of money.

Thank you for your time, buddy.

Everything I state above is accurate. This place you were going to recommend has terrible reviews from both Google and Yelp. You are misdiagnosing my car remotely in some confused attempt to convince me to rebuild my transmission, which is beyond the scope of my original question and the intention of this thread.

Then you resort to name-calling after I respond in a tone similar to one set by you in your own reply.

If nothing else, consistency can be considered a virtue; this last response is equally informative as the others you've littered this thread with.
