Happy with my Stage 2 tune

Just a quick post (no pics, sorry). After my EGR spring broke at 74k I decided to go with a stage 2 tune from Malone. I brought it to the recommended Malone dealer in Winchester, VA.

I live 90 minutes away so I rented a car. 2 days later, as promised, my 2012 X5 35d was ready. Performance is OEM like with more power everywhere. I swear it shifts more smoothly as well. Drove it four hours today.

I'm not as mechanical as you guys, but I went with a buzzken and added a cat. No smoke except for a tiny bit when cold. It smells outside the car, but no smells inside. Hopefully the smell will get better when the cats burn in? Regardless it passed the wife & friends test so I'm happy as is.

So far I don't see a downside. Can't wait to try towing with it.
