Radar Detector Users - Adaptive Cruise/Blind Spot Monitoring

Hello,
I'm currently in the market for a 2009-2013 Xdrive35D. As I've run across listings I see that adaptive cruise control is a common option, and less common is blind spot monitoring. I'm not terribly interested in either of the options specifically, but many of the X5s that I've run across for sale have one or both of these options.

When I drive I use a radar detector religiously (I run a Valentine One, for what it's worth). Many vehicles with blind spot monitoring and/or adaptive cruise control set off my radar detector when I am near them on the road. Are there any radar detector users here with these features? What has your experience been with them causing false alerts?
