X5 E70 Auto leveling headlights not working
Help needed, The other day I noticed the dipped beam was focusing on the road quite close to the car, making it difficult to drive in the dark I have a 2009 X5 3.0D sport, there is no leveling control next to the headlight switch, and i have the fancy main beam light (hid, xennon?) I have checked the linkage arms to the 3 sensors i can find, 2 at the rear and 1 on the left had side behind the wheel, and they are OK, the rear ones were cleaned and greased a few months ago as they were tight, i have just done the front one today the car no longer does the self check where the lights dip and come back up on start up, My Missus just asked me if i had "checked the fuse" so i think i'll go and do that now, Does anyone have the fuse location and number to hand? any other things to check? I am planning a long journey soon and may not even have time to book it in to the dealer so that i can get my pants pulled down the week before Christmas!
