Early on (2009-2011) there were some oddities reported with CA....

We purposefully didn't order with our 2010.

The 2012 included it with tech package (as I recall) so we had to accept it.

As BMW has rolled out software updates continuously, I would not be surprised if these early 'events' were the result of BMW software coding errors which have been corrected after beta (aka Production) testing....
