They cheap out on the backside by using less material in the spokes and a thinner inside bead seat. I used to have replica 214s. They are noticeably lighter (and much weaker).

One of my 214 just cracked and it’s OEM. I will sell the three soon.

I guess you want me to prove that these are really OEM. We bought the car from a BMW dealer last month and the decode of our VIN clearly shows it came equipped with 20" 214 Y spoke wheels. Last 7 of VIN is 0B95550. Wheels are in storage but i'll go shoot the 4 pictures.

I'm not saying I don't believe you, it just takes away any shadow of a doubt. Plus you can prove at the same time there are no cracks on the inner lip

FWIW, my X5 (bought used) came with 214s (per the VIN), however the ones on there were replicas. Previous owner must have had aftermarket wheels and then put the replicas on to sell it.

Thank you, Quicksilver. Just to be clear, can I post in Parts and Accessories without upgrading to Premier? If only premier members can post anywhere, then I need this thread removed please.

The Classifieds section has been set aside for the purpose of selling SAV products,
The link provided sets the rules for those sales including the need for premier membership.
Compliance by members of the site is appreciated. https://xoutpost.com/classifieds/bmw...und-rules.html

BB_cuda - Purpose of being a premier member isn't for the site to "make money" but to be supported and able to continue unimpeded. Unfortunately, site owners don't get all of this for free. So memberships and advertising is what pay's for it to be here.

Thus, for them to ask that we be premier members to sell items is so we don't get a bunch of people just signing up to sell stuff like on a lot of other forums. I don't think anyone is trying to single you out at all.

I'm a premier member and haven't advertised or sold a thing, just did to support the site. If I were closer to you, I'd be interested in your wheels.
