I'm going to add that I tow with my X5M. While it does not have 550awhp, probably more like 400. IT is way more than enough for towing. I tow a 5000lbs ish trailer and put my X5M into sport to pass a slow mover. I went from about 60mph-100mph while towing before I even cleared the slow mover. Lets just say my trailer had some scary sway at those speeds. So I'll bet for towing at least that much power isn't necessary.... However, for driving around I get it.
Some people swap over to the M5 manifolds and turbos. Might want to check that as an option. Also I'd throw a low temp thermostat on before the valve stem seals go. |
