I recently did a homelink / compass mirror retrofit to my E83. The lights on my mirror acts just like Jim H, always a slow blink. My mirror has the low profile led instead of the standard red clown nose, along with yellow led's along the lower left bottom edge.

I've watched a lot of the online video's, and my lights never seem to match the ones in the videos.

I have a Chamberlain opener, with a date code of 2016. Were able to program the mirror in the E30 without issue. I've tried several different remotes, as well as the learn button. I have two remotes that are model 953ESTD 02/16, one that is 953EV 1/18.

Been thinking about getting the Chamberlain Compatibility Bridge, I found it on Amazon for 25.

For what it’s worth, Liftmaster is made by Chamberlain, and it wouldn’t surprise me if your opener is very similar to mine. The Homelink site says that if my Liftmaster has the opener has a yellow antenna wire, I might need the bridge. Of course, as my post mentions above, I needed the bridge for my e90 so I suspect I will for my e70 if I can find the remote to program (or buy a new bridge).

By the way, I did not have any problems with range on the e90 with the bridge, as some other have mentioned. Although I don’t ever trigger the garage door unless I can see at least see it.

Hope that helps...
-Jim
