Hot air from the engine washing over the front sensor?
The issue is also seen as 'heat soak' whereby heat under the engine 'soaks' the various components in the air intake path, creating hot intake are and lowering the engine power until air cools off. Last edited by ard; 04-20-2018 at 12:25 AM. |

Hot air from the radiator fan dumps under the car, affecting the sensor’s reading.
