New LED bulbs for the angel eyes / halos

Just purchased an 07 4.8i with 74.5K miles that needs a little bit of love to bring her back into her former glory. List of things to do but here was a quickie that I do enjoy.

Swapped out stock bulb for 60W 6000k LED bulb for the angel eyes. I like the results. Before and after.

Looks great. Did you also code the front turn signals off when your headlights are on? I want to do this as well.

I changed the bulb for the angel eyes, not the headlights, with a 60W 6000k bulb.

There 2 model headlights for the e70 so I assume you had the standard non xenon headlights. And you change the angel eyes to led can you please tell us where you bought these bulbs ?
And can you also tell me where the position was from these bulbs ? Did you had to take the whole headlight unit off?

Youtube is your friend but no you dont have to remove the headlight. Changing both bulbs takes about 10 minutes. My headlights are HID but Im not sure why they matters. The bulbs have nothing to do with the headlight bulbs.

The bulbs are H8s, I used these and so far so good. There is another brand thats a favorite among BMW folks but they are $200+. Figured I would try the cheap ones first.
