Can we have some context? Why are you looking for this "main" ground cable"? What are you symptoms or issue(s)?


Everything electrical is grounded so there are ground wires & combs (connectors) everywhere. Examples are like X490 & X10012 in the pic below...and if you click the link you'll see the wiring diagram that shows how X490 is connected to a lot of electrical components around the car:




But there's also a ground cable that runs from the starter to the chassis which is #2 in the diagram below and is located in the engine bay:
