so can you manually move it all the way up and down with the controls? I also had a issue with my mirrors years ago, but luckily it was under warranty and they replaced the motor. works perfectly ever since.

Yes, I can manually (electrically with the switch control) move it further down. Just won't dip in the auto-reverse-dip function as much as I would like.

I would say mine dips about 1/2-5/8 of the way down.

is the button that you switch back and forth for driver/passenger mirror set on the driver side. make sure it not switch to the passenger side.

Yes the toggle switch is on the driver side or else it won’t dip at all if it’s toggled towards the passenger side.

yea, looks like you will need to check the code/programming. I checked my list of codes spreadsheet and there wasn't anything on coding the mirror's angle.
