interesting. Of course you need to find the wiring/module. I have a parrot on another car, 'connection problem' as a voice prompt doent sound familiar. But again, you gotta find it irrespective of what it is. And yes, it can be an issue, depending on how it was installed. |

I've installed Parrot's in (2) e39's. "Connection Problem" in a female voice does sound like a Parrot response. Use your phone to check for a Parrot Bluetooth signal. As I recall you need to reset Parrot to clear the old phones from the list. My Parrot had a small wired controller. Pressing and holding the center button cleared the memory as I recall.

The Parrot controller may be hidden. After system phone/language setup it's never used. If the voice msg is indeed from the Parrot, then the module with the voice commands is still installed. Follow the microphone wire to the module. I installed my Parrots in the trunk near the TCU/MULF modules and used the factory microphone wire, splicing in the Parrot mic and mounting behind the factory grill in overhead console.

why go to a dealer??????
Just buy an AGM somewhere for 1/2 the price of a dealer. Although dont you have the gutted DPF with low power, a replaced turbo, etc, etc???? Once the battery gets low it is 'easier' for it to trip discharge warnings. Bad comfort asccess (CA) dor handles have also been a culprit. Lock the car, wait an hour. Does any of them feel warm to the touch? |

Before you condemn the battery connect a 10 amp charger over night and see how long it takes for the warning to return. Short trips and an underperforming alternator may be the true cause.
