FRESSSHHHH from the paint shop

Pretty excited to get these back from the paint shop. So tempted to cover in clear vinyl and mount but painter recommended waiting at least 3 weeks before covering. Will smile everytime I look at them but will then be tormented by the wait.

From learning the hard way, make sure you wait, or the film will pull the paint off of the parts if not fully cured. Ask me how I know...

Oh because of the clear vinyl? If you're not driving it that much, it should be fine. When I got my freshly painted X5m and 50i M Sport bumper, I was thinking the same thing and months have passed they are still perfect paint. Of course, it's just me :-)

Was thinking about that but know I'd kick myself if I caught some rock chips or scratches because I couldn't wait. Plus I'm guessing it will be easier to wrap the individual pieces before they're mounted vice mounted.
