Hey all,
So I just received my new NT510. I bought it primarily in hopes of diagnosing a misfire my 2007 3.0si's been experiencing. It misses pretty bad at times (sporadic rough idle and shuttering under load) but isn't giving me any new codes. I just have the old P0420/0430 I've had as long as I've owned the vehicle.
Plugs are new a year ago and I suspect it may be time to replace the coils but before forking out the money for new ones, I was hoping to check the fuel trims to isolate which cylinder(s) is the culprit.
I have no idea how to do this though.....
I read through the manual but it doesn't seem to break down how one goes about pulling this data and certainly doesn't explain how to interpret it. I've searched the forums and google'd as well without success.
Can anyone give me the quick and dirty on how I pull and make sense of this data using the Foxwell NT510?
Thanks in advance!
