Cig lighter and homelink mirror constant power retrofit!

Hi!

Did not think it will be so easy! I just decided to connect cig lighter fuse to one which has power on with key in position 1!
Found cig lighter number 111...and next one is telephone fuse! TCU module I think and radio as well! Just connected...and wolllaaaaa
Little problem is...compass is on all the time and my mobile charger led light is on. I have wireless charger with sensor touch! Very good that homelink remote is on. Actually compass wire could be taken out....it is useless anyway!

So you attached the ckt for the homelink (switched) to the always on cig lighter? Take out the fuse for the home link circuit or you will backfeed anything else on that circuit also better check your total draw on the circuit of you approach 80-100 mA you will risk coming to a car that won't start.

The last thought: confirm to don't interrupt the sleep mode. Keep the car from sleep the battery will be found dead overnight.

It's a neat mid if it works I often want to open a garage door that is ten feet away when my car isn't running (literally dozens of times in the past 3.7 years).

Few modules are on all the time anyway to wake up car after some time. Plus I have gps tracker...immo which blinking...but car goes to sleep anyway... gear shift is not on...when car is alarmed...mirror light is blinking. Car never sleeps in a sleeping mode!

I just connect ciglighter wire to telephone wire

Info update!!! Just came from garage! Car was sleeping...no compass light no charger light! Opened door...car wakes up...lights on!
Perfect solution!
