Oil filter housing alignment

Is it possible to missalign when reinstalling? I noticed that mine is definitely not exactly where it was when I removed it after I torqued the bolts down. Do I need to loosen it up and realign or am I ok?

Edit: after thinking about it a minute it’s totally possible that it’s in the same spot and just appears to be missaligned because the mating surface is now clean and shiny. The little bit I can see may have been visible before but too dirty to notice.

Is this on the 6 cyl? I assume on that motor its up on top in front? (I have the v8, its underneath).
Either way, if it threaded on smoothly, and its not leaking, 99.999% chance you are fine. If it was off at all, you would be spewing oil.
